CANSA
As a non-profit organisation fighting cancer since 1931, CANSA enables research, educates the public and advocates for, and supports, all people affected by cancer. It’s CANSA Care Homes provide patients with accommodation, healthy meals, and transport to and from treatment centres. And important information and emotional support is given. Because rural districts don’t have oncology clinics, cancer patients living there must move to unfamiliar and often distant bigger centres for up to six weeks to receive treatment - this can cause added trauma. Welcoming and comfortable, the seven CANSA Care Homes country-wide, are a safe haven for patients who require cancer treatment. We thank you for helping to keep these safe havens open. Besides the hands-on help that your support brings, just knowing that cancer patients are not alone, gives enormous comfort to them and to their families. Your generosity helps keep the doors of the CANSA Care Homes open.
