The Salesian Institute Youth Projects (SIYP) in Cape Town is a beacon of hope for at-risk youth, offering education, skills training, and holistic support to help young people break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures. Rooted in the values of St. John Bosco, SIYP has been serving the city’s most vulnerable communities since 1910. Through its dynamic programmes - ranging from foundational education and vocational training to life skills and job readiness - SIYP empowers youth aged 14 t 35 with the tools they need to transform their lives and contribute positively to society.
