Access to clean and safe water is not a privilege, it is a basic human right. Yet, in many rural
communities across Ghana, this fundamental necessity remains out of reach. Families rely on unsafe streams, ponds, or broken-down boreholes for drinking, cooking, and cleaning,
exposing them to waterborne diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and diarrhoea. These
conditions disproportionately affect children, undermining their health, education, and overall
quality of life.
At The Heart of the Needy Foundation, we believe every individual deserves access to pure
and safe water regardless of where they live. That’s why we launched our clean water
initiative aimed at providing sustainable, accessible water solutions to rural communities
across Ghana.
Our ongoing project, "Accessible Clean and Pure Water for Rural Ghana", listed on
GlobalGiving, is tackling this crisis one community at a time. Through the installation of
mechanized boreholes and water filtration systems, we are restoring hope and dignity to
hundreds of households. Clean water does more than quench thirst, it empowers women,
keeps children in school, and builds stronger, healthier communities.

We are calling on compassionate individuals, development partners, and corporate sponsors
to join us in this mission. Your sponsorship can directly fund the drilling of boreholes,
provide maintenance training to locals, and ensure that entire villages no longer have to
choose between thirst and disease.
Why Your Support Matters:
$50 can supply water filters for a small household.
$250 can contribute to community sensitization and training on safe water usage.
$1,000 helps fund materials and logistics for borehole construction.
$5,000 can install a full mechanized borehole benefiting over 300 people.
Every donation - big or small - brings us closer to a future where no Ghanaian child drinks
from a contaminated stream. Let’s turn on the tap to opportunity, health, and dignity.

Support today. Share our mission. Sponsor a borehole. Change a life.
